Lawrence Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother’s fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate. As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if he has any chance at ending the slaughter and protecting the woman he has grown to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself-one he never imagined existed.

I just finished watching the movie at: VoobyMovies,com you watch everything right on their site and it’s free. I dont know how they get some of these films, I mean some of this stuff hasen’t even hit the big screen yet.

He could not lace the boots as they say in pro wrestling of either Edward Van Sloan, Peter Cushing, and especially Frank Finley. Basically “BS Dracula”–so to speak–is Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula–the best adaptation is the 1977 BBC one with Louis Jourdan as Dracula.

@RPenta -It’s funny you say that. I honestly thought he was the only decent Van Helsing to ever hit the screen. Bram Stokers Dracula is one of the few movies that actually did the story justice. Hopefully this new Wolfman will do the same! Let’s all hope that “Fag-atar” will be knocked down to #2 Friday!..

I hope Anthony Hopkins is good; he was the worst Van Helsing in history in the so-called “Bram Stoker’s” Dracula–including when Mel Brooks played Van Helsing!

I actually agree that CGI is putting special EFX artists out of business. This film looks amazing.. nonetheless …I wish they would have incorporated the two..

ok ima make a guess on the story line here;)
somwthing eats the people in a town, experts come, they get eaten.. they find out its a werewolf, girl falls in love with wolfydude, people hunt werewolf and almost kills him, girls stop them and live happily ever after.
did i get close?

if they did it right it could of worked, I just think that CGI is the lazy way out with some things, like take an american werewolf in london, that movie won an academy award for the transformation scene, hollywood’s just gettin lazy, it still looks sweet though i’m just sayin that i would of prefered special effects not visual effects.
